Sin embargo, la primera vez que encontr\u00e9 una no fue solo una, sino m\u00e1s de cien de ellas todas juntas. Al d\u00eda siguiente todas hab\u00edan desaparecido, y no he visto una desde entonces.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este atractivo equinodermo, conocido en otros lugares como la estrella del coj\u00edn de Panamic (Pentaceraster cumingi), vive en todo el Pac\u00edfico oriental. De acuerdo con la excelente gu\u00eda de invertebrados de John Hoover, normalmente se encuentran a una profundidad de 30 metros (100 pies) o m\u00e1s en Haw\u00e1i, lo que explicar\u00eda por qu\u00e9 muchos buzos que visitan el lugar nunca han visto una.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las grandes agregaciones de Haw\u00e1i, como la que se puede observar en la imagen, rara vez aparecen y, seg\u00fan tengo entendido, nunca hab\u00edan sido fotografiadas anteriormente.
