A medida que la investigaci\u00f3n de buceo se desarrolla, identificar el denominador de la poblaci\u00f3n de buceo es cada vez m\u00e1s importante.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Departamento de Investigaci\u00f3n de DAN realiz\u00f3 una nueva encuesta en Carolina del Norte el a\u00f1o pasado para abordar esta cuesti\u00f3n. Les entregaron a las tiendas de buceo locales un afiche con un c\u00f3digo QR vinculado a un breve cuestionario donde se preguntaba el nivel de certificaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s alto del buzo, el a\u00f1o en que hab\u00eda obtenido su primer certificado y con qu\u00e9 frecuencia buceaba. DAN reuni\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 1.200 respuestas el a\u00f1o pasado. Esos resultados mostraron que la edad del buzo promedio era de 47 a\u00f1os y que la mayor\u00eda de los encuestados hab\u00edan estado buceando solo por un a\u00f1o.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente DAN est\u00e1 expandiendo la participaci\u00f3n a buzos en Am\u00e9rica del Norte y les han solicitado que completen la encuesta una vez por a\u00f1o calendario. Completar la encuesta toma alrededor de dos minutos y est\u00e1 disponible para buzos de cualquier nivel de 18 a\u00f1os o m\u00e1s. La participaci\u00f3n es an\u00f3nima y voluntaria y DAN no utilizar\u00e1 los datos reunidos para identificar a nadie.
