En 2012 DAN lanz\u00f3 una herramienta para que los buzos informaran accidentes de buceo para ayudarnos a cuantificar su gravedad y frecuencia. Renovamos el proceso de informe para que fuera m\u00e1s sencillo y eficiente y lo relanzamos en 2021. El Sistema de informe de incidentes de buceo (DIRS, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) es an\u00f3nimo y no tiene ning\u00fan impacto en su condici\u00f3n o cobertura. Nuestro objetivo es identificar las tendencias de accidentes de buceo para poder hacer mejores recomendaciones y seguir buceando de manera segura y divertida. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hemos recabado m\u00e1s de 300 incidentes relacionados con el buceo, que van desde casi accidentes hasta accidentes fatales. Cerca del 60 % de los informes fueron autodeclarados, lo que significa que el individuo que realiz\u00f3 el informe fue quien experiment\u00f3 el accidente. Reunimos informes de todo tipo de buceo, incluso buceo en apnea (buceo sin equipo y snorkel), en aguas abiertas y t\u00e9cnico. Mientras que la mayor\u00eda de los informes (65 %) est\u00e1n relacionados con las aguas abiertas, tambi\u00e9n recopilamos informaci\u00f3n sobre accidentes de navegaci\u00f3n, fallas en los equipos y acontecimientos m\u00e9dicos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mientras seleccionamos algunos informes para su publicaci\u00f3n, eliminamos toda la informaci\u00f3n de identificaci\u00f3n (nombres, fechas y lugares) de la versi\u00f3n final.
