La Reuni\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica Anual de la Sociedad M\u00e9dica Submarina e Hiperb\u00e1rica (UHMS ASM) de 2025 se celebr\u00f3 en junio en Atlanta y reuni\u00f3 a expertos mundiales en medicina aeroespacial, submarina e hiperb\u00e1rica. Organizada conjuntamente con la Asociaci\u00f3n M\u00e9dica Aeroespacial (AsMA), la conferencia congreg\u00f3 a profesionales que trabajan en entornos extremos, desde las profundidades del oc\u00e9ano hasta el espacio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un Legado de Colaboraci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

DAN sigue celebrando nuestra historia compartida con presentaciones impactantes, conocimientos compartidos y cursos ofrecidos a lo largo de toda la conferencia. Entre los miembros de nuestro equipo que asistieron se encontraban los doctores Wayne Massey, Craig Cook y Michael Gernhardt, de la junta directiva de DAN, y los doctores Jim Chimiak, Matias Nochetto, Camilo Saraiva y Frauke Tillmans, de DAN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El tema de este a\u00f1o, \u00abInnovaci\u00f3n: viaje hacia el futuro\u00bb, destac\u00f3 las interesantes intersecciones entre la medicina submarina y aeroespacial y la integraci\u00f3n de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas. Investigaci\u00f3n, Preparaci\u00f3n y Atenci\u00f3n Remota<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Como parte del compromiso de DAN con la formaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica continua de los m\u00e9dicos, los doctores Chimiak, Nochetto y Saraiva participaron en las sesiones previas al curso de la UHMS sobre la enfermedad por descompresi\u00f3n en entornos remotos. Saraiva analiz\u00f3 las complejidades que rodean las evaluaciones de evacuaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y present\u00f3 casos pr\u00e1cticos y estrategias de comunicaci\u00f3n, componentes clave para mejorar las operaciones sobre el terreno y garantizar la seguridad de los miembros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
