{"id":5007,"date":"2020-07-08T15:53:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-08T19:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wordpress.world.dan.org\/?post_type=dan_research_study&#038;p=5007"},"modified":"2021-12-21T16:59:34","modified_gmt":"2021-12-21T21:59:34","slug":"flying-after-diving","status":"publish","type":"dan_research_study","link":"https:\/\/world.dan.org\/es\/research-reports\/research-studies\/flying-after-diving\/","title":{"rendered":"Volar despu\u00e9s de bucear"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Cuando se empez\u00f3 a cuestionar el per\u00edodo recomendado de espera para volar despu\u00e9s de bucear y result\u00f3 claro que no hab\u00eda evidencias para respaldar las recomendaciones vigentes, DAN dise\u00f1\u00f3 una serie de experimentos para aportar evidencia y establecer nuevas pautas m\u00e1s precisas para volar despu\u00e9s de bucear.\u202f Las \u201cPruebas sobre volar despu\u00e9s de bucear\u201d iniciales de DAN sentaron las bases para las recomendaciones actuales reconocidas por la Marina de Estados Unidos y respetadas por buzos que practican buceo recreativo en todo el mundo.\u202f<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>El estudio experimental se llev\u00f3 a cabo en 2003.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En el pasado, las recomendaciones para volar despu\u00e9s de bucear eran muy variadas. Por ejemplo, tras una \u00fanica inmersi\u00f3n sin paradas, la Marina de Estados Unidos recomendaba esperar para volar un intervalo en la superficie de dos horas, DAN recomendaba 12 horas y la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de Estados Unidos, 24 horas. En 1989, la Sociedad M\u00e9dica Submarina e Hiperb\u00e1rica (UHMS) recomendaba restringir toda actividad de buceo 24 horas antes de volar y suger\u00eda no volar hasta 48 horas despu\u00e9s de una inmersi\u00f3n con paradas de descompresi\u00f3n. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas pautas eran muy limitantes para los buzos y operadores de buceo. Por eso, en 1991, los investigadores de DAN desarrollaron una serie de experimentos dise\u00f1ados con el fin de generar los datos necesarios para perfeccionar las recomendaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo de este estudio fue calcular la relaci\u00f3n entre el intervalo en la superficie previo al vuelo y la incidencia de enfermedad disb\u00e1rica (ED) en algunos ejemplos de secuencias de inmersiones representativas del buceo recreativo. En el estudio, el intervalo en la superficie previo al vuelo se acept\u00f3 o rechaz\u00f3 en funci\u00f3n de la cantidad de incidentes de enfermedad disb\u00e1rica y el total de exposiciones. Las reglas de aceptaci\u00f3n y rechazo se eligieron de forma tal que permitieran casos leves de enfermedad disb\u00e1rica, pero limitando los casos m\u00e1s graves. El Consejo de revisi\u00f3n institucional del Duke Medical Center (Centro M\u00e9dico de la Universidad de Duke) aprob\u00f3 estas reglas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con los datos obtenidos mediante este estudio, DAN redact\u00f3 recomendaciones m\u00e1s espec\u00edficas que reducen el riesgo de sufrir enfermedad por descompresi\u00f3n como resultado de volar despu\u00e9s de bucear. Las \u201cPruebas sobre volar despu\u00e9s de bucear\u201d iniciales de DAN sentaron las bases para las recomendaciones actuales que siguen los buzos que practican buceo recreativo.
