THE NEWEST EDITION OF DAN\u2019S RAPPORT ANNUEL SUR LA PLONG\u00c9E<\/em> EST D\u00c9SORMAIS DISPONIBLE.<\/span><\/strong> Bien que la publication du rapport 2020 ait \u00e9t\u00e9 retard\u00e9e, il offre des informations fascinantes, des statistiques et des r\u00e9sum\u00e9s de cas d'incidents et de d\u00e9c\u00e8s survenus en 2018 dans le cadre de la plong\u00e9e r\u00e9cr\u00e9ative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As in previous years, the report covers breath-hold diving incidents, DAN\u2019s injury monitoring program, and the geographical distribution of incidents and has special sections covering equipment failures, the role of training and education, and implications of divers\u2019 cardiovascular health and fitness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case studies provided in this report give insights into divers\u2019 behaviors and highlight the importance of safe diving practices. Readers can learn more about the data collection process, review expert analysis of various situations and hazards, and better understand triggers, mechanisms of injuries, disabling injuries, and causes of death.
