La r\u00e9union scientifique annuelle 2025 de l\u2019Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS ASM) s\u2019est tenue en juin \u00e0 Atlanta, r\u00e9unissant des experts mondiaux en m\u00e9decine a\u00e9rospatiale, sous-marine et hyperbare. Organis\u00e9e conjointement avec l\u2019Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA), cette conf\u00e9rence a rassembl\u00e9 des professionnels travaillant dans des environnements extr\u00eames \u2014 des profondeurs de l\u2019oc\u00e9an jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019espace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un h\u00e9ritage de collaboration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

DAN continue de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer cette histoire commune en proposant des pr\u00e9sentations marquantes, des partages d\u2019expertise et des formations tout au long du congr\u00e8s. L\u2019\u00e9quipe pr\u00e9sente comptait les Drs Wayne Massey, Craig Cook et Michael Gernhardt du conseil d\u2019administration de DAN, ainsi que les Drs Jim Chimiak, Matias Nochetto, Camilo Saraiva et Frauke Tillmans de DAN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le th\u00e8me de cette ann\u00e9e, \u00ab Innovation : voyage vers le futur \u00bb, a mis en lumi\u00e8re les intersections passionnantes entre la m\u00e9decine sous-marine et a\u00e9rospatiale ainsi que l\u2019int\u00e9gration des nouvelles technologies. Une session phare fut la conf\u00e9rence Armstrong-Hart, \u201cPressure Perils from Undersea to Outer Space,\u201d<\/em> (\" Les dangers de la pression, des profondeurs aux confins de l\u2019espace \"), au cours de laquelle les Drs Jon Clark, Mitch Garber, Michael Gernhardt et Richard Moon ont abord\u00e9 les parall\u00e8les physiologiques et op\u00e9rationnels entre la plong\u00e9e profonde et les vols spatiaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recherche, pr\u00e9paration et soins \u00e0 distance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dans le cadre de l\u2019engagement de DAN \u00e0 offrir une formation m\u00e9dicale continue aux m\u00e9decins, les Drs Chimiak, Nochetto et Saraiva sont intervenus lors des sessions pr\u00e9-congr\u00e8s de l\u2019UHMS sur la maladie de d\u00e9compression en milieux isol\u00e9s. Le Dr Saraiva a explor\u00e9 la complexit\u00e9 des \u00e9valuations pour l\u2019\u00e9vacuation m\u00e9dicale, pr\u00e9sentant des \u00e9tudes de cas et des strat\u00e9gies de communication \u2014 \u00e9l\u00e9ments cl\u00e9s pour renforcer les op\u00e9rations sur le terrain et assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des membres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les Drs Nochetto, Saraiva et Tillmans, ainsi que d\u2019autres chercheurs et collaborateurs de DAN, ont donn\u00e9 des pr\u00e9sentations sur l\u2019analyse d\u2019incidents, la t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9decine en milieu de plong\u00e9e isol\u00e9 et les tendances des blessures li\u00e9es \u00e0 la plong\u00e9e. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Progresser gr\u00e2ce au partenariat<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ce congr\u00e8s scientifique annuel a constitu\u00e9 un pr\u00e9cieux espace de collaboration entre disciplines et continents, soulignant l\u2019importance des progr\u00e8s collectifs dans la science des environnements extr\u00eames. La participation de DAN a renforc\u00e9 son engagement envers l\u2019avancement de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en plong\u00e9e, la pr\u00e9paration aux situations d\u2019urgence, la science m\u00e9dicale et l\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale.
