{"id":35352,"date":"2013-10-15T16:11:00","date_gmt":"2013-10-15T20:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/world.dan.org\/?post_type=dan_divers_blog&#038;p=35352"},"modified":"2026-04-07T16:22:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T20:22:41","slug":"lionfish-stings-in-divers","status":"publish","type":"dan_divers_blog","link":"https:\/\/world.dan.org\/fr\/safety-prevention\/diver-safety\/divers-blog\/lionfish-stings-in-divers\/","title":{"rendered":"Piqures de poissons-lions sur les plongeurs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lors du congr\u00e8s 2013 de l\u2019Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), le Dr Dario Gomez, l\u2019un des m\u00e9decins r\u00e9f\u00e9rents de Divers Alert Network, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 33 cas de plongeurs piqu\u00e9s par des poissons-lions \u00e0 Cozumel sur une p\u00e9riode de trois ans. La majorit\u00e9 des plongeurs bless\u00e9s (21) participaient \u00e0 des tournois de r\u00e9gulation des poissons-lions et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 piqu\u00e9s en manipulant leurs prises ; sept tentaient d\u2019attraper le poisson et seulement cinq ont \u00e9t\u00e9 piqu\u00e9s accidentellement. Tous ont \u00e9t\u00e9 piqu\u00e9s \u00e0 la main.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le poisson-lion est un magnifique poisson originaire des r\u00e9cifs tropicaux des oc\u00e9ans Indien et Pacifique, qui s\u2019est propag\u00e9 ces derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies dans l\u2019Atlantique. C\u2019est un pr\u00e9dateur qui se nourrit de nombreuses autres esp\u00e8ces et, en l\u2019absence de pr\u00e9dateurs naturels dans l\u2019Atlantique, il constitue une&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alertdiver.com\/Lionfish_Spread_Unprecedented\">menace pour l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me r\u00e9cifal<\/a>. Ainsi, dans de nombreuses r\u00e9gions, les plongeurs organisent des tournois de p\u00eache afin de limiter les populations de cette esp\u00e8ce invasive. Les poissons-lions poss\u00e8dent des \u00e9pines venimeuses utilis\u00e9es pour leur d\u00e9fense. Certaines estimations avancent un nombre annuel mondial de 50 000 piq\u00fbres de poisson-lion, ce qui les place au second rang apr\u00e8s les raies. Ce chiffre semble tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9, mais le fait que ces poissons soient fr\u00e9quemment maintenus en aquarium domestique et que les plongeurs les chassent volontairement peut l\u2019expliquer. DAN propose des&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alertdiver.com\/Lionfish_Tournaments_Safety_Tips\">conseils de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/a>&nbsp;aux plongeurs souhaitant participer \u00e0 ces tournois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9pines du poisson-lion injectent un&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/oceanservice.noaa.gov\/education\/stories\/lionfish\/glossary.html#v\">venin<\/a>&nbsp;provoquant une douleur br\u00fblante pouvant durer plusieurs jours et pouvant s\u2019accompagner de sueurs, de d\u00e9tresse respiratoire et d\u2019autres sympt\u00f4mes, y compris une paralysie. Le venin est une combinaison de prot\u00e9ines, d\u2019une toxine&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/oceanservice.noaa.gov\/education\/stories\/lionfish\/glossary.html#n\">neuromusculaire<\/a>&nbsp;et d\u2019un&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/oceanservice.noaa.gov\/education\/stories\/lionfish\/glossary.html#n\">neurotransmitter<\/a>&nbsp;appel\u00e9&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/oceanservice.noaa.gov\/education\/stories\/lionfish\/glossary.html#a\">acetylcholine<\/a>. Cette toxine est d\u00e9natur\u00e9e par la chaleur, et l\u2019immersion dans de l\u2019eau chaude (45 \u00b0C, 114 \u00b0F) est une mesure de&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alertdiver.com\/Marine_Envenomations_Vertebrates\">premiers secours recommand\u00e9e<\/a>&nbsp;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tous les patients de la s\u00e9rie rapport\u00e9e ont \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9s par immersion de la main atteinte dans un bain d\u2019eau chaude non br\u00fblante et par des anti-inflammatoires non st\u00e9ro\u00efdiens (AINS). Tous ont bien r\u00e9pondu au traitement par eau chaude. En compl\u00e9ment, ils ont re\u00e7u des soins de la plaie et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 envisager une prophylaxie antit\u00e9tanique. Aucune complication n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9e. La piq\u00fbre ne semble pas avoir d\u00e9courag\u00e9 les plongeurs de participer aux tournois de p\u00eache au poisson-lion, puisque neuf d\u2019entre eux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 piqu\u00e9s plus d\u2019une fois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il convient de noter que les piq\u00fbres de poisson-lion peuvent avoir des cons\u00e9quences plus graves chez les jeunes enfants et chez les adultes pr\u00e9sentant des pathologies cardiaques ou un syst\u00e8me immunitaire affaibli.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lionfish are incredibly poisonous with a burning pain that can last for days.
