Divers Alert Network (DAN) et Garmin ont annonc\u00e9 l\u2019int\u00e9gration de la Ligne d\u2019Urgence DAN<\/a> au dispositif d\u2019intervention d\u2019urgence inReach\u00ae<\/sup> de Garmin pour les membres DAN, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi l\u2019assistance offerte aux plongeurs dans les zones isol\u00e9es\u00b9.1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette nouvelle int\u00e9gration associe les capacit\u00e9s mondiales de coordination des urgences par satellite de Garmin \u00e0 l\u2019expertise de DAN en m\u00e9decine de plong\u00e9e. Elle pourrait ainsi permettre un acc\u00e8s plus direct et plus efficace \u00e0 des conseils sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s lors d\u2019urgences li\u00e9es \u00e0 la plong\u00e9e. Pour les membres DAN qui ajoutent leur num\u00e9ro de membre DAN dans la section \u00ab Emergency Notes \u00bb de leur compte inReach, les coordinateurs de Garmin Response\u2120 peuvent contacter la ligne d\u2019urgence de DAN et consulter directement des professionnels de la m\u00e9decine de plong\u00e9e, tout en continuant \u00e0 coordonner les moyens de secours locaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Garmin Response, un centre professionnel de coordination des urgences op\u00e9rationnel 24 heures sur 24, coordonne les interventions par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire du r\u00e9seau de communication par satellite de Garmin. Dans le cadre de cette int\u00e9gration, Garmin Response continue de coordonner les op\u00e9rations de secours, tandis que DAN apporte son expertise sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e en m\u00e9decine de plong\u00e9e pendant la phase de coordination de l\u2019urgence. Une fois le plongeur bless\u00e9 pris en charge dans un \u00e9tablissement m\u00e9dical, les services m\u00e9dicaux et d\u2019assistance de DAN peuvent, selon les besoins, continuer \u00e0 lui apporter leur soutien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
