Des EGA plus grandes et plus nombreux sont statistiquement associ\u00e9es \u00e0 un risque plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 d'accident de d\u00e9compression (AD), mais la relation n'est pas directe. Des diff\u00e9rences dans les risques d\u2019EGA et de AD ont \u00e9t\u00e9 document\u00e9es entre les individus et chez le m\u00eame individu, m\u00eame pour des plong\u00e9es identiques. Il est important de noter que l'\u00e9volution de l'EGA apr\u00e8s la plong\u00e9e varie consid\u00e9rablement, de sorte que des mesures fr\u00e9quentes peuvent \u00eatre importantes pour comprendre l'influence de l'EGA sur d'autres m\u00e9canismes physiologiques en plong\u00e9e. Pour atteindre cet objectif, les chercheurs de l'UNC s'efforcent d'obtenir des milliers d'enregistrements \u00e9chographiques qui serviront \u00e0 affiner les algorithmes automatis\u00e9s de d\u00e9tection d\u2019EGA.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-background has-dan-light-gray-background-color has-dan-light-gray-color\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Les embolies gazeuses art\u00e9rielles (EGA) sont des bulles qui se forment \u00e0 partir de l'azote dissous pr\u00e9sent dans les tissus lors de la remont\u00e9e d'un plongeur. Les EGA sont d\u00e9tectables par \u00e9chographie, en particulier par \u00e9chocardiographie (imagerie du c\u0153ur par ultrasons), o\u00f9 ils apparaissent comme des points lumineux circulant dans les cavit\u00e9s veineuses du c\u0153ur. Dans le cadre de la recherche sur la plong\u00e9e, les vid\u00e9os des bulles circulant dans le c\u0153ur sont ensuite analys\u00e9es par des \u00e9valuateurs qualifi\u00e9s qui notent les bulles sur une \u00e9chelle de gravit\u00e9 qui les met en corr\u00e9lation avec le risque d\u2019accidents de d\u00e9compression. Une \u00e9valuation alternative bas\u00e9e sur le comptage manuel des bulles est plus reproductible et plus facile \u00e0 apprendre pour les personnes n'ayant pas de formation m\u00e9dicale et pr\u00e9sente des avantages pour l'automatisation informatique. L'un des principaux inconv\u00e9nients de cette m\u00e9thode, largement utilis\u00e9e dans la recherche sur la d\u00e9compression, est qu'elle prend beaucoup de temps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans cette \u00e9tude, nous d\u00e9veloppons une application en ligne destin\u00e9e \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e par le public pour le comptage manuel des embolies gazeuses art\u00e9rielles dans les \u00e9chocardiogrammes. Cet outil Web permettra aux volontaires de nous aider \u00e0 collecter des \u00e9chocardiogrammes enti\u00e8rement compt\u00e9s, ce qui nous aidera \u00e0 \u00e9laborer des algorithmes d'apprentissage automatique pour automatiser cette t\u00e2che \u00e0 l'avenir.
