Setelah beberapa perdebatan, para peserta sepakat bahwa kecuali mereka dapat mengandalkan komputer selam, pedoman tertulis untuk penyelaman rekreasi harus sederhana dan tidak ambigu, tanpa perlu referensi ke tabel seperti yang disyaratkan oleh prosedur Angkatan Laut AS.
