The event brought together many people who make DAN&#8217;s mission possible: dive pros, dive businesses, training agencies, and other industry partners who support safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dive-business-resources\"><strong>DIVE BUSINESS RESOURCES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At our booth, DAN staff met one-on-one with current and prospective\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/world.dan.org\/id\/professional-programs\/business-membership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DAN Business Members<\/a>\u00a0to discuss programs and benefits for dive pros and businesses \u2014 including\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/world.dan.org\/id\/professional-programs\/business-membership\/#student-medical\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Keanggotaan Mahasiswa<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/world.dan.org\/id\/professional-programs\/business-membership\/#rewards-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">referral rewards<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/world.dan.org\/id\/liability-insurance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">liability insurance<\/a>\u00a0discounts, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members received a complimentary DAN Business Member Pack containing brochures promoting membership and dive accident insurance, plus additional marketing materials. All DAN Business Members can request these kits and access digital resources through our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/members.dan.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Business Member portal<\/a>. The booth also showcased emergency oxygen and first aid products from the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/shop.dan.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DAN Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:7px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-training-and-education\"><strong>TRAINING AND EDUCATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the days leading up to DEMA, DAN hosted the Instructor Qualification Course (IQC) and Instructor Trainer Qualification Course (IQTC), co-taught with the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dan.org\/education-events\/instructor-led-courses\/powered-by-dan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Powered By DAN<\/a>&nbsp;partner training agencies: SSI, NAUI, IANTD, and SEI. Through this program, dive training agencies incorporate&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/world.dan.org\/id\/education-events\/become-a-dan-instructor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DAN&#8217;s basic life support, CPR, oxygen administration, and other courses<\/a>&nbsp;into their first aid training. DAN also held the DAN Instructor, Instructor Trainer, and Examiner Annual Update, as well as an Examiners Meeting. For those who couldn&#8217;t attend, an online version will be available in early 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wistia_responsive_padding\" style=\"padding:56.25% 0 0 0;position:relative;\"><div class=\"wistia_responsive_wrapper\" style=\"height:100%;left:0;position:absolute;top:0;width:100%;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/fast.wistia.net\/embed\/iframe\/ap4i66g7qn?web_component=true&#038;seo=false\" title=\"Powered By DAN Video\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowtransparency=\"true\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" class=\"wistia_embed\" name=\"wistia_embed\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/div>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/fast.wistia.net\/player.js\" async><\/script>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In DAN&#8217;s seminar room, our researchers, doctors, and safety experts presented on cylinder safety, cardiovascular fitness to dive, updated CNS oxygen toxicity exposure limits, effective risk management, and other topics that will receive further attention in upcoming DAN publications and member communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:7px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dan-member-social\"><div aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"font-weight: 400; white-space: normal; height: 7px;\"><\/div><strong>DAN MEMBER SOCIAL<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s DAN Member Social, held November 11 at the Rosen Centre Hotel, brought together more than 1,500 dive industry professionals for an evening of community and celebration. DAN adjusted the schedule from previous years and implemented an e-ticket system to enhance the overall experience for members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event featured addresses from DAN&#8217;s outgoing president and CEO, Bill Ziefle, and incoming president and CEO, Cliff Richardson, highlighting the organization&#8217;s latest accomplishments and vision of making every dive accident- and injury-free. Topics ranged from underwater cave exploration and equipment innovations to marine conservation and aquarium diving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These conversations will be published in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dan.org\/about-dan\/news-media\/podcast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The DANcast<\/a>&#8216;s second season, launching in January 2026 with new episodes airing biweekly on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLhr_YHqKReC_3iNYgYlRDv812C-3rifk-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">YouTube<\/a> and other platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:7px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-save-the-date-2026-dema-show\"><strong>SAVE THE DATE: 2026 DEMA SHOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Join us November 3\u20136, 2026, in New Orleans for another exciting DEMA Show.
