Don’t miss the DAN World Safety Seminars in Playas del Coco, Costa Rica!
On the evening of Friday, May 3, 2024, we invite all divers and rescue personnel to attend the free Dive Safety Seminars by DAN, Divers Alert Network, in Playas del Coco, Costa Rica. Join us at Hotel Colono Beach on Friday, May 3rd, at 6:30 pm for a night full of learning and fun. Participation in the event is in person only (not by livestream).
Space is limited in the conference room, therefore registration to be a participant is mandatory. The conference room will open at 6:30 pm. The event program will begin at 7:00 pm.
There will be 2 presentations (in Spanish), by Dr. Gerald Schmitz, Specialist in Emergency Medicine and Hyperbaric Medicine, and by Dr. Matias Nochetto, Vice-President Medical Services at DAN. Their talks will be “Risk Factors for Decompression Sickness”, and “Case Management in Remote Locations: Lessons Learned from Cocos Island” respectively.
