The XII CMAC – III CPAC is the premier Latin American conference on coral reef science, conservation and management that brings together leading scientists, young researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, conservationists, managers and the general public. The XII CMAC – III CPAC will be a key event to develop and share science-based solutions that address the present and future challenges of coral reefs, globally exposed to unprecedented anthropogenic pressures. The event will provide a platform to build essential bridges between science and society, and propose mechanisms for their management, conservation, sustainability, study through emerging tools and public policy advocacy.
