DAN Dive Safety Seminar in Cozumel 2025

DAN World hosts the 17th annual Dive Safety Seminar, at the University of Quintana Roo (UQROO) in Cozumel on October 12, 2025. This seminar will be an in-person event and require online registration prior to the event (free). This year’s event is co-sponsored by the Mexican Coral Reef Congress and the National Diving Congress.  Registration includes your entry into both the National Diving Congress (Saturday Oct 11) and the DAN Safety Seminar on the following day. This year’s seminar features presentations by 3 eminent experts in their field. All will be held in Spanish.

• “Prevention of Boat Propeller Accidents” by Dr. Darío Gómez, DAN Medical Liaison México
• “Immersion Pulmonary Edema in Recreational Divers” by Dr. Cuauhtémoc Sánchez, DAN Senior Medical Coordinator in Latin America
