3rd International Diving Congress

DAN World will be present at the Colombian Naval Bicentennial during the XLVII Anniversary of Diving in the Colombian Navy and specifically at the II International Diving Symposium, on September 28, 2023 from 7:30 am at the Auditorio Universidad del Sinú in Cartagena, Colombia.
Under the title “Importance of underwater activities for the maritime development of a country”, and in a hybrid format (face-to-face and virtual), international speakers will present on hyperbaric medicine, submerged national heritage, safety, and management.
In the presentation entitled Why having a coverage is better than having good luck: Accident Statistics and Other Facts, DAN World’s Business Liaison, Francisco J. Ramos-Gallego, will discuss the importance of being prepared for calamities that may arise underwater, we will discuss accident statistics for the nation and the Latin American region among other topics related to the symposium.

7th International Diving Congress

DAN World will be present at the 7th International Diving Congress on September 16-17, 2023, at the Kempes Sports Center in the city of Cordoba, Argentina.
Speakers from Mexico and Argentina will discuss medicine, teaching and training, safety and management, as well as logistics and technical aspects of diving.
DAN World’s seminar at this event will discuss the new coverage programs for diving accidents for our region (Latin America, the Caribbean and US territories). The presentation will be on Sunday, September 17 at 11:30 a.m. The DAN World Programs Coordinator, Virginia Albertengo, will be at the DAN World stand to answer any questions during the days of the Congress. On the night of Sunday, May 15, 2022, we invite all local dive pros and DAN members to attend DAN World’s free Dive Safety Seminar, offered by Divers Alert Network, at the meeting room of the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort. We’ll have opportunity for 50 divers to join this in-person event. Registration is mandatory. The entrance to the meeting room will start at 5:30 pm local time in Grand Cayman. The event will begin at 6:00pm. There will be 2 presenters, including Dr. Matias Nochetto, VP Medical Services at DAN. His talk “Real cases from the DAN Emergency Line” will present actual medical emergencies relevant to Cayman divers. At the end of the event, we’ll raffle a DAN First Aid kit among all participants present.
