CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Part-Time)

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

The Customer Service Representative for DAN World LAC will assist customers by answering inquiries and problem-solving through various channels. As member of the DAN World LAC team, provide administrative support and contribute to various projects and initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and process renewals and new member enrollments
  • Log into the customer service phone queue to answer questions during business hours
  • Address inquiries from members including:
    • Logins
    • Proforma Invoices and Custom Receipts
    • Updating customer account information
    • Member cards
    • Eligibility questions (e.g. which DAN region to join)
    • Membership and insurance benefits
    • Liability coverage inquiries
    • Automatic renewal charges & changes
    • Business member or Dive Pro enrollments
    • Access to Safety Resources
  • Assist with the DAN World WhatsApp Business Account: messages and calls
  • Administrative responsibilities include:
    • Provide weekly/monthly summary report of activities on projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum two (2) years college-level courses
  • Three or more years of experience in customer service and office administration
  • Self-motivated and directed with outstanding administrative skills and a high level of attention to accuracy, detail, and organization.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Available to work 20 hours/week during normal business hours
  • Fluent in Spanish & French
  • Prior experience answering a customer service phone queue.
  • A team player, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Proficient in use of standard office equipment and business software, including MS Office Suite (Word and Excel), and PowerPoint
  • Experience with membership and/or affinity programs (familiarity with DAN programs a plus)
  • Familiarity with the recreational scuba diving industry or other adventure sports (not required)

COMPENSATION

  • Monthly stipend depending on country of residence and experience plus reimbursement for operational expenses.
