Vancouver Aquarium is pleased to announce Divers’ Weekend, taking place October 24–25, 2026, under the theme “Dive Preparedness.” This two-day event will feature a curated lineup of diving-focused presentations, live dive demonstrations from local organizations, and informational booths hosted by regional dive groups – all included with regular Aquarium admission. A social icebreaker will also be held after hours on Saturday, offering a great opportunity to connect with the dive community. Certified divers (freediving, SCUBA, or commercial) who present valid, current certification will be eligible for discounted Aquarium admission.
DAN will be presenting a dive safety presentation at this event, as well as exhibiting in the main event hall. Come by to connect with us and join us in supporting dive safety in your area.
An official DAN Trainer will be offering a DAN Emergency Oxygen Provider course at this event on Saturday October 24 for those who preregister, meet pre-requesites, and complete online coursework prior to the classroom session. Space is limited to 12 students.
DAN Emergency Oxygen Provider Course
Learn how to recognize diving-related injuries and safely administer emergency oxygen by completing the classroom portion of the DAN Emergency Oxygen Provider Course during Divers’ Weekend. Participants must complete the required DAN e-Learning before attending the classroom session.
