DAN DISPATCH
The DANcast, DAN’s official podcast, has significantly grown its reach as a resource for recreational divers. After beginning earlier this year by airing episodes recorded during the 2024 DEMA Show, the podcast has since featured expert voices from major industry events, including the Scuba Show in Long Beach, California, and Beneath the Sea in Secaucus, New Jersey.
Interviews from the spring 2025 DAN–UHMS Continuing Medical Education (CME) conference in Saint Lucia are a recent highlight. This CME series features dive medicine experts such as Jim Holm, MD; Michael Lang, PhD; Simon Mitchell, MB ChB, PhD, DipOccMed; and Neal Pollock, PhD. They translate complex medical and research topics into accessible content for divers of all levels.
The DANcast plans to expand with upcoming episodes recorded during the 2025 Bonaire TeK event and the 2025 DEMA Show in Orlando, Florida. Listeners can tune in for a new episode every Tuesday. The podcast features real-world stories and insights from the global dive community, all in the spirit of safe diving and lifelong learning.
